Flash Cards

One set per chapter of the handbook. Flip each card to check yourself, with the handbook page on the back.

Basic Theory Test (BTT)

How to study with flash cards

  1. Choose a set: there is one for each chapter of the official handbook.
  2. Read the front (a short cue) and answer it in your head.
  3. Flip the card with a click or the Space bar to see the full fact and the handbook page.
  4. Move on with the arrow keys or by swiping on a phone. Go through a set again until you know every card.

Why flash cards help

  • They are quick: a set takes a few minutes, so you can revise on the bus or in a short break.
  • They make you recall a fact before you see it, which helps you remember it in the test.
  • Each card is made from our practice questions and checked against the 2026 handbook, with the page to read.

Revise in other ways

Print the one-page cheat sheets for the key numbers and rules, then practise questions by topic and take a mock test.
